Capping Defy Pain? Where is the easier place to get this? I want to try out this build tonight....and YOU really have NO points in Sword?

Oh...what kind of armor do you use?

Defy Pain can be captured in the Frozen Forest from Obrhit Barkwood. I'd suggest starting from Copperhammer Mines. Points into Swordmanship don't matter because you don't use any sword attacks.

I suppose the armor doesn't matter, as long as you have a piece of Ascalon/Knights for absorb. It looks like dont feel no pain uses full platemail + Ascalon boots.

If you have 6 hydras on you it goes this way:

Vigorous Spirit adds +10 to health regain and let's say Live Vicariously gives you +15. That is 25 health regain on one hit. Now 25x2 (You hit Hundred blades) that's 50 health, then if you 6 hydras INCLUDING the one you just hit 25x6 is 150. 150+ 50 = 200 health stolen. If you don't hit the target you just swung at twice you have retained 175 health. That's alot of health taken away. The higher Liver Vicariously is and Vigorous spirit is, the more health you will steal.
You're a monk, not a necro ;p you can't steal any hp even if your life depended on it. You're healing! Get it right damnit...

/me is jealous

I figured that...however with your current build how many attribute points do you have left over...I am trying to create my own, and I am researching what others have done...so it can expedite the process and in the mean time create a successful build.

I will share any findings.

i would have more if i didnt disconnect 5 minutes into the trip

A little slow for my tastes, but very easy to use.

Plus you can get most of those skills early with a Drok run. Props.

I'm already laughing on the floor.

dont feel no pain's right. It wouldn't stand a chance in GvG against any half-competent team. Don't even bother trying it.

Only absolute idiots target self-preserving Warriors in GvG/PvP. Especially if they can't do any good damage. This build can't do damage unless the enemy "attacks" you --- ie: tries to harm you using a weapon. Even worse, the skills Riposte and Deadly Riposte only reflect damage back at the enemy when you're standing right next to you. Who cares if you have a ton of armor if the enemy doesn't bother hitting you because you're not even a threat? This build isn't even suited for flag running. Plus, armor ignoring spells and conditions will shred this build. "Obsidian Flame in 3...2...1..." = dead W/Mo.

The build was designed specifically for farming, so it's not so good in other environments... sorta like how an Invincimonk in GvG isn't so good.

Try south of beacon's perch, just a little bit below the first res point. 1/4 chance the boss will spawn there, only a few enemies in the way. BTW I capped this skill with henches and a random person with ripostes at level 14. The henches all died, and I still had the boss and 2 ice imps to deal with. Ripostes are just so awesome though, I was able to kill it and cap.

It's called BE CREATIVE. Take out Defy Pain and replace it with Watch Yourself, then add in your Hundred Blades. It doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure this stuff out.
